Every move down here is a property and a journey
The bay road runs from the Melbourne end out to the tip, and the move changes the whole way along it: the haul gets longer, and the homes shift from big family houses to holiday weekenders on sandy lanes and cliff drives. Hastings sits on the other coast, on Western Port. Here is the corridor, by the road distance back to Melbourne and the kind of move each suburb usually is.
- Mount Eliza Long drives behind deep gardens · Mostly permanent homes
- Mornington Busy town centre, timed loading · Some holiday homes
- Mount Martha Hillside slopes, steep driveways · Some holiday homes
- Safety Beach Flat estates, proper driveways · Some holiday homes
- Dromana Flat foreshore, steep slopes + acreage behind · Some holiday homes
- Rosebud Flat town, season + main-road timing · Many holiday homes
- Rye Sandy holiday-home lanes · Holiday-home country
- Blairgowrie Narrow tea-tree lanes, shuttle often · Holiday-home country
- Sorrento Tight heritage village, scarce parking · Many holiday homes
- Portsea Steep cliff-top drives, shuttle essential · Holiday-home country

We read the property
The driveway, the sandy lane, the cliff drive or the acreage gate: we work out the access and whether a shuttle is needed before the day.
-
We plan the journey
Within the Peninsula or up the freeway to Melbourne, we plan the haul, the timing and the truck so the move runs to a plan.
-
Moving day
A careful crew wraps, loads and transports your home, places it at the other end and clears the empties if you like.
Local knowledge, careful hands, honest quotes
We read the property AND the journey
A Peninsula move is rarely just down the road. We plan the access at the property and the long haul to or from Melbourne together, so it is one organised move rather than a scramble.
Holiday houses are our normal day
A great deal of the Peninsula is weekenders and second homes, so part-loads, seasonal set-ups and soft, narrow tea-tree lanes are routine for us, not a surprise.
Insured, every move
Your belongings are covered while we are carrying them. Wrapping and protecting your furniture and your home is part of the job, not an extra.
Transparent quotes
A clear quote based on your actual move and access. What you are told up front is what you pay, with no day-of surprises.
Good to know before you move
Can you do a holiday-house part-load, not a full move?
Yes, that is one of our most common Peninsula jobs. Plenty of moves down here are setting up or packing down a weekender, or bringing a part-load down from town, and we are happy to quote the smaller job at the right size rather than overselling a big truck.
How does a move between the Peninsula and Melbourne work?
It is the long haul up or down Peninsula Link, so we plan the drive into the day. If your dates are flexible a backload shares truck space and keeps the price down; if you need a fixed schedule a dedicated truck gets your whole home there in one run. We will tell you honestly which suits your move.
Can you reach a clifftop or acreage property a truck cannot get close to?
Yes. On the Portsea cliffs, the sandy lanes near the tip and the hinterland acreage, a big truck often cannot get to the door, so we position it where it can safely sit and run a smaller shuttle vehicle for the last leg. We plan that before move day, not on it.
How far ahead should I book, especially over summer?
The earlier the better, and that matters more down here over summer when the holiday towns are full and removalists book out. A week or two usually secures your date; get in touch even at short notice and we will do our best to fit you in.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
Yes. Your belongings are covered while we are moving them, and we wrap and protect furniture and your home as standard. Ask us about the cover when you request your quote.
